App Description

Kairoz - Plan and Structure

Structure is of great importance for child functioning. Structure and routines provide a sense of security and help to avoid stress caused by not knowing how the day will evolve.

Kairoz helps parents and/ or caretakers to define a structured activity schedule for their kids. Using a positive feedback system with rewards, children will be rewarded by the parents and/ or caretakers when they adhere to the schedule. Kairoz focuses on the morning and evening routines, which can be especially challenging and causing stress when time pressure is present, for example when a child needs to be on time at school.

Kairoz sends notifications when activities are scheduled, and shows animations of the activities that are scheduled for the child. Using this visual aid, children will be stimulated to perform this activity as well. In addition, a timer is displayed is during each activity, which will improve the sense and understanding of time for the children.

The schedules, child appearances, goals and rewards are all highly customizable. For the child, a variety of scenes is available to view their progress and appearance in the app. Moreover, reports are available for parents and/ or caretakers to overview the child's performance.

"Kairoz" is based on the Greek word "Kairos", which is the personification of the right time, the opportunity. With Kairoz, we present you a great opportunity and a mean to offer your child a fun and interactive way to structure their behavior and improve his/ her understanding of time.
