Pocket Tours have worked with Northumberland County Council to produce this app. The app explains the events that took place during the battle of the Somme and highlights stories of the men from Northumberland that bravely fought and died on the battlefield. In addition there are many other facts, images and videos relating to them and the role that they played in the battle…

The app also provides a full audio to the battlefield and is as interesting to use at home as it is on the ground. Videos and images also help to bring the battle to life.

Packed with history and interesting information this app is perfect for those commemorating the centurion of the Somme, especially those from the North of England.
