Cape Fear Model Railroad Society

If you live in Wilmington, or one of the surrounding counties, and you love model trains, you've found the right website. Organized as a 501c3 with the main purpose being to promote model railroading and to encourage fellowship among people interested in model railroading. The club meets on the first Tuesday of the Month at "The Salt Shaker" 405 S. Kerr Street in Wilmington, North Carolina. Visitors are always welcome.
Established in 1994, the Cape Fear Model Railroad Society maintains a constitution and by laws protecting the integrity and function of the society as a 501c3 not for profit organization. The constitution serves also to help preserve the love of model railroading and to assure that the Cape Fear Model Railroad Association will be around for future generations to enjoy.
We're a diversified group of people. We have different tastes and heritages, but we have in common a sincere love of trains. In our group, those with disabilities are welcome. Our members will gladly find a place for you to join in and be an active part. We encourage the sharing of the fun of model railroading. Our members have set up model railroad displays at events all over Eastern Coastal North Carolina. Come Join us, We look forward to seeing you
