App Description

IFFI 2015 Smartphone App brings to you a myriad spectrum of colours from the 46th International Film Festival of India, Goa from 20th- 30th November, 2015. The App has been designed and maintained by the New Media Wing of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
An extremely user-friendly App, IFFI 2015 hosts multi-faceted features including film trailers, film screening schedules, reminders of your favourite movies and interactions with internationally acclaimed filmmakers and celebrities.

This interactive App brings alive the International Film Festival on your smartphones by live streaming of an array of events straight from the venue. These include inaugural and closing ceremony of the festival. Also, all the Master Classes with the experts of the film fraternity can be viewed live on your smartphone through this App.

Intrinsic details have been kept in mind to give users an enriching experience on the App. Users can share updates from the App on their Social Media accounts by an easy share option. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting also gives a platform to its App users to share their experience and moments at #IFFI2015 in form of images clicked by the users.

#Talkathon- A unique initiative by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting providing a platform for Twitter users across the world to engage directly to the guest/s by using a specified hashtag which will be live-streamed on IFFI 2015 App. You can be a part of these Talkathons through this App by posting questions live via @MIB_India, the Twitter handle of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. These multimedia interactive sessions can be viewed live on the App thus enabling the guest/s to interact with Twitter users on real-time basis.


The platform also gives you live Twitter feed on #IFFI2015 at one place from the widely popular and trusted Twitter handle of the Ministry with over four lakh followers.
