A person is typically considered sedentary if they take less than 5,000 steps per day according to New York Times. And walking 10,000 steps a day is not an official recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Instead, the agency recommends adults engage in 150 minutes of moderate activity a week, such as walking. To meet the CDC's recommendation, you need to walk about 7,000 to 8,000 steps a day.

We want you to: First: walk more. Second: increase your steps. Finally, form a new active lifestyle.
We don't want you to: Sky rocket from 2000 steps to 10000 steps at day 1 like other app advertisements (you will probably give it up after some hard core days)
