Mayhem Combat from Vivid Games wins last week's game of the week award

It was a hard fought battle, but the winner of our first game of the week has been crowned. And you probably won't be too surprised to hear that the award goes to Mayhem Combat from Vivid games. But why do we think it deserved to win? Well read on and you'll find out.

The game is a super slick, super violent beat 'em up with online, battle royale-style scraps to the death. Plus there's a bit where you can get hit by a train, or jump over the train and not get smashed. Bridges collapse, lightning flashes, and all the time mayhem reigns. Which is fitting, since the game's called Mayhem Combat.

It's the sort of game you're going to lose hours of your life to, finding the right combination of character and weapon to clonk your foes faces in with. And, quite frankly, those hours are going to be pretty damn well spent.
