If you saw our post earlier this month announcing the imminent release of ZPlay’s new creation, Inner Circle, you’ll be happy to know that it’s now available on the App Store.

Established in 2010, developer and publisher ZPlay have taken the mobile gaming industry by storm, attracting an impressive collection of over 400 million users to date and achieved top 10 ratings across the globe.

With its digestible concept, pretty graphics and quirky soundtrack, the title is a sure-fire hit with all generations, from young kids to grandparents alike – think Tetris, for the 21st Century.

To succeed within gameplay, the idea is to rotate the outer circle to align with the ‘inner circle’, by tapping the screen to flip the colours on the wheel and swiping to shrink it in order to receive more points.

Loss occurs when players don’t manage to align the colours successfully before the circles meet, which gets more and more difficult to avoid as you progress through the game’s impressive array of 250 levels.

With a number of sweet features including a night-mode that protects sleepy eyes from bright shades by altering the colour scheme for varied lighting, and an Arcade mode that allows players to plough through as many levels as they can on an indefinite scale, Inner Circle has a lot to offer.

Presently, you can catch the release, for free, from the App Store for your Apple device – so, what’re you waiting for?

ZPlay’s new iOS release, Inner Circle, may just drive you round the bend

Pairing slick visuals with a frustratingly addictive premise, ZPlay’s Inner Circle is a must-play for anybody who enjoys a good time-sensitive puzzle game. Using a simplistic (but highly effective) layout, the game is opened up to a vast demographic of players – young and old.

To succeed at the game, players must work to line up rings of colour to match that of the ‘inner circle’, whilst the ring shrinks in size and looms closer to its orbit. If players don’t line up the colour before the ring hits the centre - by tapping the screen to rotate and swiping to shrink faster - they will lose the game.

With an impressive 250 levels to get stuck into, the title offers extensive gameplay and promises to get right under the skin of its players. Perfect for those who lean towards brain-training and cognitive challenges, with its Tetris-esque format.

Inner Circle possesses a selection of interesting features, including a night-mode to ensure the brightness of the nigh-neon colours doesn’t affect eyesight, and an Arcade mode that allows players to plough through levels indefinitely. The night modeis achieved by altering the colour scheme presented in the original version of the game.

The title will be available soon, for iOS devices, so keep circling in on that App Store!
