Createrria, the interesting app maker within an app from Incuvo, has just received a big update. The update adds leaderboards, parental controls, seasonal content, and more. From the developer's website:

Most important new features and changes are:
- Holiday content: Icon, splash, new avatar and new profile decorations
- New physics-based game mechanics: Pogo Bubble
- Possibility to easy showcase creations to other players
- High score leaderboards
- Parental Controls for online features and in-app purchases
- Many speed and stability improvements for older devices

Createrria, as noted, allows players to use the tools it provides to create and share platform games. We reviewed the game late last year; it is available for free on the App Store.

Createrria is an interesting little tool/game creation kit that's about to get even interesting-er. The upcoming "Eclipse" update will add a new graphical theme, new 'triggered door' and 'moving saw' items, sky backgrounds, more avatar stuff, performance enhancements, and the ability for users to create their own "flappy" style games.

That's right, come early March you'll be able to stop lamenting the untimely loss of Flappy Bird and simply make one for yourself.

Createrria - craft your games is an app that allows users to create games without needing any technical skill. It has the capability for users to create action, puzzle, and platformer games that can be shared with friends or others in the community. It features level painting for coloring the terrain, four graphic themes that include Pixel, Shadow, Smooth, and Candy, different mechanics for the type of game users want to build, and more.

Former Gamelion game designer Wojciech Piejko is working on a new mobile title called Createrria, an app that allows you to create games by simply tapping around on screen. It's also said that the app features the quality and dynamics needed to appeal to casual players. If creating a game isn't your thing, you can still download and enjoy the app as you can play creations made by other users instead.

Createrria is scheduled to release in September 2013.
