The best sales on the App Store this week

It's been quite the week in mobile games, but if the latest releases(there were some pretty darn good ones, in case you missed out) aren't really doing the trick, perhaps some of these discounted games will. Many of these premium games had their prices slashed or are completely free for the time being, so snatch them up while you can.

Perhaps one of the prettiest games on the App Store, Infinity Blade is currently free to download for a limited time. It's a fantastic hack and slash if you're looking to clobber some monsters in a fantasy setting.

This great board game also has a well-made mobile port, and you can now get it for $2.99. Go solo or play multiplayer to save the world from a rapidly spreading uber-plague. No pressure or anything.

Out There leaves you drifting in a far off galaxy with a barely functioning space ship. Manage your resources and try to survive long enough to find out more about the people who inhabit this strange place. It's one of the most moving, beautifully told stories on mobile right now. You can nab it for just $1.99.

Poco Loco is more of an experience than anything else, with gorgeous design and an ethereal soundtrack. If games like Journey are more your bag, you'll love this pretty little number. It's $1.99 for a short while.

Templar Battleforce is an old-school isometric sci-fi RPG on a grand scale. If you like to blast aliens in gritty, rusty, pixellated spaceships, you'll probably get a kick out of this game. Its gameplay is varied and creative. You can buy it on the App Store for just $6.99.
