Marmalade Game Studio, who you may know as the developers of the digital adaptation of the Game of Life, has recently teamed up with Hasbro to create Monopoly Sudoku. This mash-up of two household names is available now for both iOS and Android.

It leans more on Sudoku than Monopoly by bringing a multiplayer version of the game over to mobile devices. Players will battle it out with their friends, family or other players in head-to-head Sudoku matches.

The Monopoly spin on Sudoku comes in the form of players being able to collect dice rolls each day. This will move them along the iconic board where they'll be able to unlock reward multipliers, tokens, avatars and improve their level.

There will be Championship Seasons that run every week and players can take part in as many competitive grids as they desire. If they're looking to improve their skills then the Sudoku School may be of interest, providing a host of tips and tricks for players to learn to become better at the puzzle.

Discussing the game, Mike Willis, CEO of Marmalade Game Studio, said: “We think players will really enjoy this unique MONOPOLY Sudoku experience. It combines the friendly competition of our other games with the classic brain teaser puzzle, giving new and experienced players alike the chance to enjoy Sudoku in its most accessible form yet.”

He added: “The MONOPOLY twist, multiplayer puzzles and championships only enhance the overall experience, providing added incentives to keep playing and keep progressing!”

Monopoly Sudoku is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium title that costs $3.99 or your local equivalent.
