How to beat The Moron Test

If there's one thing human beings love doing more than anything, it's lording their intelligence over one another.

The Moron Test helps you do exactly that. But should you find yourself lacking in the intelligence department, we've got a handful of tips to help you convince your friends you're Einstein. Kind of.

Go slow

One of The Moron Test's favourite tricks is to quickly change its parameters and button locations after you tap the screen, to punish anyone trying to speedrun the game.

Just take your time. Give yourself a brief pause after each screen tap, survey the screen, and act accordingly so you don't hit something else by accident.

Pay attention

The game will, at times, give you a screen telling you to "pay attention!", indicating something important is coming up.

But, frankly, you need to be paying attention at all times. As mentioned before, the game will frequently switch everything up at a moment's notice - even after one of these screens.

In particular, read the objective carefully. And re-read it after you start, if possible. The wording and goal can change after the first tap, and you might miss it if you're not looking.

Also, be sure to keep track of how many times you're tapping objects. You will often have to tap a certain number of times, so be sure to only count the times you actually hit the object.

Shake it up

For the most part, you'll just need to tap something on screen to continue. But the game will sometimes throw in a puzzle that requires you to physically move your device.

If you're stuck, try shaking or turning your phone or tablet and seeing if anything changes. Could be that you, quite literally, take a different perspective on the puzzle.
