God Punch is an idle defense game about protecting the Earth from invaders that's available now for iOS and Android

God Punch: Idle Defense is, as the name kind of gives away, an idle game where players will set about protecting the Earth from a bunch of invaders that stem from Abyss. It's available now for both iOS and Android as a free-to-play game.

The Abyss used to do battle with Gaia across the universe, with the latter trying to keep order whilst the former enjoy trying to spread chaos. Eventually, the Abyss managed to seal away the Five Elemental powers of Gaia, weakening them significantly. That meant the Earth needed protecting so they sent a little godling called Zero to do so.

This involves defending it from incoming meteors as well as intergalactic bosses with the battles continuing even when you're AFK, as is fairly standard for an idle game. Zero has been defending the Earth for a long time too, as the game progresses you will see the Earth progress through the Cenozoic Era, Mesozoic Era, Neolithic Era, Age of Rome, Age of Sail, the Modern Age, and beyond.

With all that time, naturally Zero will find opportunities to better equip themselves to keep fighting off the threat the Abyss poses. This means acquiring new helmets, gloves and other accessories that will add to Zero's power. There are also Seals to obtain that give the powers of Ancient Gods, which sounds very handy.

There will also be several Minigods, over 50 at the moment, to collect too that can be added to your Earth defence team. They will come in various elemental variations and you'll be able to form a squad of them to aid Zero in his battles against meteors and various bosses.

God Punch: Idle Defense is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
