Help yourself with flash cards like questions and answers created by yourself. (A terrific way to study any topic - create your own questions and answers right after you read or study something important)
For the adult with elderly parents at risk for memory impairment, this app will help you understand the current level of their cognitive status.

The new custom user-defined study moduld

les are easily created (you can even dictate your questions and answers). Create study modules for every aspect of your child’s education. This week’s words, this week’s quiz, or any type of studying you need can be created easily and quickly - and for free! (up to 4 custom spoken word lists and 6 custom question/answer modules)

Parents do not have to confront their child to get off the iPhone or iPad and do some studying - the parent sets the device and the device will INTERVENE automatically - and force the child to come back to this study application. The intervention will occur at whatever time interval desired by the parent - and results are recorded in a log for review. Non-compliance will be easily seen in the automatic recording log. Study scores and time log will show the merits of the child's study activity. Agreement between the parent and child should be harmonious, a verbal contract with each other - and so avoiding frequent confrontations and avoiding the negative feelings. It is the device that intervenes, not the parent. Positive study results will be recognized by the parent. Scores can be seen immediately by the user.

This app is a complete self directed flash card system to help anyone learn most anything.
This app can be used to follow your own parent’s cognitive ability… Customize a study module questions for your parents - about family names, birthdays, salient family event, recent news events, and follow their progress. Immediate feedback on changes in mental ability can help you inform health care providers about the changes that may be directly related to adverse effect of newly prescribed medications or newly developing health issues - long before the inaccurate, trivial, one minute, cognitive testing that occurs routinely in the current health care arrangements. The recorded log can show the typical mild ups and downs in cognition and allow big changes to be seen and documented. (For example - “ever since that new sleeping pill, my mother’s scores plummeted.” )

For the parent and child, this study app features an automatic alert system that allows “free time” use of the iPhone or iPad for a set period of time (that you have set), after which an 'ALERT' notification will pop on screen and forces a response by the user. The child must either return to this study app or snooze for 30 seconds of free time. A log documentation system records coming and going to this app and the scores of the study modules.
