App Description
ArtsyFractions has practice questions in three categories. Each category presents a multiple choice quiz with animation for correct and incorrect answers; the running score is presented during the quiz.
Category one, "Fit to Fraction," presents a fraction and asks the student to match to an image.
Category two, "Fit to Image," presents an image and asks the student to match the image to a fraction.
Category three, "Add Fractions," asks the student to select two fractions who sum equals the presented fraction (for example, 1/4 + 1/4 gives 1/2). To help students gain practice with and improve their understanding of fractions, answers are demonstrated with images.
ArtsyFractions helps students understand fractions both formally and intuitively by using appropriate, colorful images; this makes ArtsyFractions enjoyable for children and adults.
