DJ Young Ant was born Anthony Barton on 11/06/1985, but later in life changed his name to DJ Young Ant. Anthony Son of Cynthia and Pedro Lucas, raised in Brooklyn, New York along with his three other siblings he attended School with the hopes of becoming famous Disc Jockey one day. While growing up Young Ant watched his uncle Richard play around with DJ equipment which his uncle obtained as a hobby. But Young Ant saw more than a hobby in this equipment he saw his future. He asked his uncle for the equipment and decided he would change it into something bigger. He and some friends began playing music for local house parties that neighborhood kids would put together. Although the pay may have been low it was his opportunity to gain the experience he needed to be a successful disc jockey one day.

The beginning of his career he decided his tag name would be ?lil Ant? since after all he was the smallest in the group. Over the course of time he found himself playing music for local clubs, bars, parties hosted by the local crowds and before he knew it his name was beginning to become known in the music industry. One day he became acquainted with Dj Cipha Sounds from Hot 97 and began working with this well known disc jockey as an intern for up to a year. Of course major changes soon took effect as his career grew and so did his name. With the suggestion of peers and mentors he soon changed his name to DJ Young Ant.
With in time, DJ Young Ant put together his own crew by the name 2much2handle DJ's, a group of young disc jockeys eager to take their talent to the extreme from parties to the mixtape circuit. With DJ Young Ant prior experience touring with various artist from city to city he managed to obtain a taste for the mixtape industry. With that he developed his own style and swag for which you see in the man before you today.

DJ Young Ant sets a goal very high for his dj crew without a doubt there makin it to the top to being one of the best djs and the best dj crews out. These young men are living there dream as he always imagine it and plan on bringing you many years of good music and mixing and you can catch them on all local social sites via,twitter,facebook,etc
