App Description

(based on a true story) by Magnum photographer David Alan Harvey is a photo novella, which can be told in many ways. The location is Rio de Janeiro, and the reader can follow the protagonist into the different worlds of an amazing city in which poor and rich live side by side together with sin, drugs, parties and beach life.

The print edition of the book has two hard covers containing loose pages which are held together by a single string. A post card with clues explains mysteriously how to read the book and suggests to mix the pages and see the different stories evolving from it.

This app version enables you to mix the pages easily by swiping up and down, right or left. Or just shake your device to mix all the pages and see new unexpected images layouts.
