What's New

Improvements in the 1.1.0 version:

- bug fix: the editorial section was not properly localized in some cases
- added a retweet button
- new horizontal mode on the home screen, requiring less interactions: the editorial selection is full screen in this mode, starts with a "my timeline" cell, and each cell title is read when the application scrolls to it
- improvement of the detection of the section to read in the browser view (don't hesitate to warn us if you're favorite websites are not properly read)
- the timeline can now be updated more frequently, up to every 20 seconds (depending on the remaining twitter calls quota)
- improved language detection
- improved support of the audio navigation buttons (Bluetooth speakers, ...), to require less screen watching:
- on the home page, the "next"/"prev" buttons change the editorial selection cell selected, while "play" launches it
- on the timeline, the "next" button opens the browser view for the first link in a tweet (or simply goes to the next tweet if there's no link in it)
- on the browser view, the next or prev button will switch back to the timeline view (which will then go the next tweet)
- added several options (in the iPhone settings app) to customize the vocalization flow
- by default, read tweets are now memorized and not reread when you relaunch the app
- "@" are not vocalized by default now
- various bugfixes

App Description

Ever dreamed of reading your twitter timeline while cooking, while walking back from work, while cleaning the house, ... ? While simply being not in front of a screen?

Radio 140 allows you doing all this things while still following your favorite subjects on twitter, by creating a twitter radio!
Radio 140 uses iOS7 text-to-speech to help you having your hands and eyes free when listening to your tweets.

Choose your twitter account, and open your timeline: the application will read each tweet in its language, as well as a preview of the links contained in the tweet.
You can also create a twitter radio about a custom search, or listen to one of the selections suggested by radio 140, especially if you are not familiar with twitter.

If a link in a tweet is interesting, it is possible to ask to read it later: it will be in your Safari reading list, where you can read it when it is more convenient.

And, if you want to listen right now to the content of one of these links, you can open it with radio 140 and click on its content to vocalize it.
--------
