What's New

It’s been a while but Galactic Getaway has been rewritten from scratch for a better overall experience. Everything transitions faster, everything feels smoother, and there are some cool new features in store! In a future update we’re hoping to bring some really cool graphical assets to the game to liven it up but while we wait for this to be developed, there’s no reason to keep the new cool stuff hidden away!

• Player ship can now loop around the screen to provide more opportunities for you to escape the deadly lasers!
• Alternate controls added. In settings, toggling off ‘Use Motion’ will instead allow you to swipe left and right on the screen to change the position of the player ship
• Added a shield power up that can be picked up randomly
• Overall performance boost and memory efficiency of the game
• No more ads!
• 3D Touch on the app icon to jump straight into a new game*
