App Description

Multi-Voice EMSV1 helps bridge the gap when the patient does not speak English in a care giving time of need.

In any situation where a patient is not responding fully, the "Golden hour" is actually the first 15 minutes. Communication with the patient is vital. If the patient doesn't speak English he/she and the caregiver are both frustrated.

Press the “Talk” icon on the iPhone or iPad to ask the patient what language he/she speaks then select the flag for that country. The app then offers three levels of care related questions, Initial Emergency Assessment, Cognitive and Procedures For Nurses; all translated from English to the language of country chosen.

With the European version on the iPad and iPhone the attendant can ask some very specific questions in one of ten languages that will help set the patient at ease and give vital information.

The EMS Mobile website available in the app also offers support for EMS caregivers and Multi-Voice social media Twitter and Facebook icons found in the app contribute to communication of app usage throughout the world.
