For Women Life Freedom is a dedicated platform uniting voices worldwide in support of the humanitarian crisis in Iran. Our collective of business leaders, influencers, activists, and artists, both within and beyond the Persian and Iranian community, leverages the power of arts, music, film, and creativity to elevate awareness and advocate for a free Iran.
The movement gained momentum following the protests in September 2022 and the subsequent arrest of Iranian artist Shervin Hajipour, who captured the heart of the movement with his song “Baraye.” Our team rallied to promote the song for recognition by the Recording Academy in their Song For Social Change Special Merit Award category, expanding our efforts in response to the escalating crisis.
Introducing the Voices Project: Launched February 4th, 2023, the Voices Project brings together thousands to record a new For Women Life Freedom arrangement of “Baraye”, spotlighting the plight of the thousands of arrested protestors at risk of execution. Through this app, you can be a part of this powerful initiative. Record a video or audio contribution and add your voice to the global chorus standing for women's rights, freedom, and dignity in Iran.
Our ongoing projects include music releases, concerts, ambassadorship, content production, and coordinated advocacy, all aimed at supporting the movement for a free Iran.
