App Description
GeoTeer is an orienteering style game.
Players seek out hidden locations using clues and report their location in order to unlock each navigation point on the game course. Clues provided include indicators for direction and distance, as well as hints and images.
The game is scored through a ranking of all players, calculated based on total time to completion and the number of clues required to solve the course. One of the unique features of GeoTeer is the ability for players to spy on fellow competitors movements.
GeoTeer courses are designed and managed on a central server. As participation requires players to be physically present on the course, not all users will find events that are local to them. Our website contains a forum and contact details to allow interested players to organize a group and propose a new course in their local area.
