App Description

A helpful tool for students and teachers attending Rendcomb, What’s On Rendcomb provides a description of all activities and events on offer over the course of each term. The activities section is designed to inform students of the extra-curricular opportunities that are on offer, giving them details of when these activities take place, what they involve, and how they can sign-up to start trying their hand at something; perhaps choir, shooting, or even the Ukulele club. Likewise, the events section gives an agenda of what has been planned over the coming term so that all students and staff are always aware of what they can attend. Included with this are details of the location, date and who are invited to join, allowing everyone to be aware of everything they are able to join in at and enjoy. For the lower school, this may be Friday Night Challenges; for the middle school, it could be house balls; and for the 6th form, it may be cultural enrichment speeches.

This application is provided free of charge so that everyone is able to benefit from the information provided, and the content is contained within the app for offline viewing. However, an update page connects the app to the internet so that the user can read any changes to events. The app’s concept and development has been conducted by the student prefect team, and the technological design was created by Daniel Sadjadian.

This application is not operated by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Rendcomb College, and therefore it is the creator, Jake McKeown, who holds responsibility for the application’s content. The details included within the application are all already in the public domain, and not form of private information is included.
