Did you know that Only .5 percent of people are vegans? According to Vegetarian Times, 3 percent of American adults are vegetarians but only one-half of 1 percent follow a strict vegan diet. Vegans don't eat any meat, eggs or dairy products. Most avoid refined white sugars, as well.

Did you know that Microwave cooking was discovered accidentally, when a chocolate bar melted in someone’s pocket? Percy LeBaron Spencer of the Raytheon Company was walking past a radar tube and he noticed that the chocolate bar in his pocket melted. He then tested popcorn in front of the tube and it quickly popped all over the room. He is known as the inventor of the Microwave oven.
