App Description

Speed-sensitive volume control, swipe gesture control for your music, easy music selection and a prominent speed and map display make this app the perfect mate for your car.

Car Buddy makes it easy for you to control your music while you're driving. There are a few other apps that do that, like FluxTunes and CarTunes, but this one is different. There's the standard swipe controls to switch tracks and change volume, but read on for more.

As long as you're using the iPhone's headphone jack or phone's speaker, the app will change the volume of the music as your speed changes to keep the music audible at all speeds.

Selection of your music is easy with large, visible text. Nothing complicated, just a simple selection of a playlist, artist, album or genre, plus quick access to just shuffle all your songs.

There's a big, easy-to-read speedometer display to quickly see your speed at a glance. Please note that the speed is a guide only and should not be used to replace your car's speedometer.

And then there's the location map display that follows your location, zooming in when you're going slow and zooming out when you speed up.

Prominent shuffle and repeat buttons complete the picture.

Swipe left and right to change tracks, swipe up or down to increase or decrease the volume. Double-tap to select your music from an easy-to-tap large-font display.

Works in both portrait and landscape modes.

Easy, simple, exactly what you need.

It's recommended that you use this app while connected to a charger as use of the GPS can drain your battery quickly. However, there is also the ability to hide the map to save data usage and turn off the GPS to save battery.
