-Offline Traffic data management
While not under internet coverage (i.e no edge, 3G nor 4G...) your live traffic data are stored offline in the app until you recover any internet coverage ... Then your traffic data are automatically sent to the Web Service to the community of users!
Moreover, all traffic alerts data downloaded when under internet connection will remain available in the live app even if not connected to internet...The traffic alerts will keep working in a vicinity of 70 miles around the location where internet connection was lost!
App Description
MyTraffic© is a collaborative application based on a web-service for real time reporting of route congestion worldwide, potentially at the scale of any route network used by its users!
MyTraffic© is the 1st application ever being totally independent from official information network which refreshing time is often not in adequacy with the required accuracy for route network congestion information and that don't provide any information for secondary routes subnetworks.
Very simple of use, you immediately get visual information depicting route networks congestion on the Map display.
While monitoring your app, you contribute to providing the community with your own real time data, even for only tens of seconds!
Free service without any subscription, broadcast data in a large scale perimeter based on your current location.
Main functionalities:
-Display of the route network congestion overlay, based on a color coding system related to the real-time average speed of user,
-Display of warning (accidents...), works and radar control notified by users,
-Tag of warning (accidents...), works and radar control locations.
Note:
- "Continued use of GPS running in background mode can dramatically reduce the level of the battery and its life. It is strongly recommended to connect the iPhone / iPad charger"
-This application requires the activation of GPS and internet connectivity (such as Edge, 3G, 4G, wifi ...)
