New FREE sample of harder levels.

Based on user feedback, samples of the harder levels are included in this revised FREE version. Previously, it had the 1st 12 of 60 levels, but that didn't show enough of the game's challenge (or pain), so it now contains a sampling of the hardest levels. As before, you've been warned. Enjoy!

LetterLeap FREE gives you sample levels of the LetterLeap game for free so you have a chance to get addicted before trying the full version. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Simple to learn, fun to play, a nightmare to beat, LetterLeap is a word puzzle game that takes it to a whole different level, literally. 60 levels and 300 different puzzles await you in the land of LetterLeap with multiple combinations of difficulty including words 4 to 12 letters in length, solving 1 to 3 words at once, randomly hidden letters, "dark squares" where letters become temporarily invisible, and if that wasn't enough, some puzzles have to be solved backwards. You'll start off simple, but as the different combinations of difficulty kick in, this sweet little game becomes something else very quickly.

LetterLeap is visually stunning, too. The 60 levels follow a path through a large map with 8 different topographic region, such as, the beach, desert and mountains, to name a few. Each region has its own beautiful and compelling background scenes shown for each puzzle you play, as well as, nature sounds for that scene. You can solve puzzles with sights and sounds of waves crashing into a shore, or birds in a rain forest.

Each puzzle is timed, and you get a rating based on your performance that shows up on the map as a gold star for "wow", green dot for "good" yellow dot for "okay" and red dot for "yikes". A timer and progress bar that counts down will let you know how you're doing while you're solving the puzzle. As long as you finish the level, you can advance to the next level, but the goal is to turn all the level markers to gold stars, and with words randomly selected and scrambled for every level, almost every puzzle you do will be new.

Pleasure can still be found amongst the panic though. The game can be played in "relax" mode where the timer and progress meter are turned off so you can just enjoy the beautiful nature backgrounds and sounds of each level while you play.
