Some of us find God at church on Sundays, but puzzle to find God the other six days of the week. Loyola Press’s Other6 is an online community dedicated to helping each other experience God at all times, in all things.
Other6 poses two simple yet profound questions: Where have you found God today? and Where do you need to find God today? At different times in our lives—and even at different times in a given day—each of us feels tugged toward one of these questions.
Other6 is Jesuit and Catholic in its inspiration but pushes no particular agenda; it is meant for anyone who seeks God with a sincere heart. Our prayer is that you will find this community a help in your search to draw closer to God.
FEATURES:
- Other6 takes the essence of the centuries-old practice of the Ignatian examination of consciousness (Examen) and adapts it for today’s mobile world by posing two questions you can answer anytime.
- One-time signup allows you to share with others where God has been revealed to you and where you hope that God will be revealed to you, according to how you are feeling that day.
- Respond to things other members have posted to build greater community.
