for the iPhone 3Gs
Intro:
Now, you can easily tell which way you are going.
How to use:
Just turn on ezCompass. You will see a heading in degrees. North is 0. East is 90, South is 180, West is 270, and so on.
Real time GPS/Compass:
The iPhone 3Gs comes with a magnetometer (compass) chip, which allows the iPhone to know which way it is orientated with respect to due north.

Note:
ezCompass only works with iPhone 3Gs. ezCompass utilizes the onboard compass chip. (For other devices, make sure you're facing north.)
