The NCE (National Counselor Examination) is a standardized examination administered by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) in the United States. The NCE is designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of individuals seeking certification or licensure as professional counselors. The NCE is commonly used for counselor certification or licensure purposes in various states and settings, including mental health counseling, school counseling, and rehabilitation counseling.

You will have a maximum of 3 hours and 45 minutes to answer the 200 questions on the exam. You need a minimum score of 98/160 to pass the test.
