App Description
With Info Vias App, you have online access to traffic information on the regional roads of Madeira Island under the jurisdiction of DIREÇÃO REGIONAL DE ESTRADAS (DRE), including those granted to the Concessionaires VIALITORAL and VIAEXPRESSO.
The app allows you to be continually updated about the traffic constraints on the island, keeping track of traffic jams, occurrences, or repairs in progress, real time viewing of the images provided by cameras, and seeing where and when the Police radars (PSP) will be operating.
In case of accident or breakdown on a concessioned road stretch, the app allows you to call the permanent service of both Concessionaires directly and free of charge.
You may also set up the traffic jam alerts you choose to receive so that you are aware of the constraints on your preferred/selected routes and schedules.
Info Vias app offers:
• A map with real time indication of traffic volume and congestion
• Viewing information about the interchanges, tunnels, and variable message panels
• Images from the different VIALITORAL, VIAEXPRESSO and DRE cameras
• Selection of favourite video cameras, allowing a faster and more suitable viewing
• Viewing of traffic jams and occurrences on the roads
• Receiving “push” notifications of traffic jams according to user preferences
• Information about programmed speed control operations of PSP
• Access to assistance and contacts in case of breakdown or accident
