What's New

The new version refines our Heart Rate Variability (HRV) analysis algorithm to cover athletic low heart rate now. This update focuses on improving the accuracy and reliability of HRV measurements by identifying and filtering out potential noises or irregularities in the data, such as premature contractions.

Key Improvements:

Enhanced Algorithm: The updated algorithm utilizes advanced techniques to more effectively identify and remove irrelevant data points, leading to more precise HRV measurements.
Increased Reliability: By filtering out potential noise, the update ensures that HRV readings accurately reflect your body's true physiological state.

Benefits:

More Accurate Insights: This refinement allows for a more accurate representation of your autonomic nervous system activity and stress levels, providing valuable insights into your overall health.
Informed Decision-Making: With reliable HRV data, you are better equipped to make informed decisions regarding your health and wellness strategies.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement: We remain dedicated to ongoing development, ensuring that our technology delivers the most accurate and reliable HRV measurements possible.

App Description

ECG+ integrates with Apple Health to unleash the greatest power of your Apple Watch ECG, by analyzing and calculating intervals like QT/QTc, PR or QRS, and heart rate variability (HRV) out of your ECG data. QT/QTc are critical measurements linked to life-threatening arrhythmias. HRV is widely considered one of the best objective metrics for physical fitness and determining your body’s readiness to perform.

HRV refers to the variation in time between successive heartbeats, which is an indicator of the health of the autonomic nervous system. QT interval refers to the time it takes for the heart to recharge between beats, which is important for assessing cardiac health.

In the ECG+ app, you can do many things about your ECG recordings from Apple Watch ECG -

1. HRV Trends - with HRV trends you can learn your health level changes. A up hill trend means a better physical fitness level and a down hill indicates you should pay more attention to your overall health. With QT trends you can monitor closely your QT intervals over a period of time and seek healthcare attention whenever a prolonged QT is identified automatically.

2. Measure QT and calculate QTc - ECG+ app automatically identify and measure QT for you, and you can choose one out of 6 QTc formulas to do the QTc calculation

3. Long QTc warning - the app automatically calculates and shows a long QTc warning if a QTc is exceeding the normal range (normal range is based on gender)

4. ECG report - ECG+ app provides a much more comprehensive report than the default report from Apple Health, and it includes R-R markings, HRV Poincaré plot, 6 intervals, heartbeat signatures and more, with which you can get a much clearer picture of how your heart is functioning

[Disclaimer]
All findings associated to the ECG readings in the ECG+ app, including but not limited to PAC/PVC detection, Long QT detection and HRV calculation, do NOT suggest diagnosis. It only provides more information for you with which to consult your doctor, not as a substitute to doing so.
