App Description
Jerriais Memory Box allows you to explore museum objects and archive photographs of Jersey’s past to stimulate memories and start conversations. It is dual language – Jerriais and English.
It can be used as a tool for reminiscence therapy by relatives and caregivers of native Jerriais speakers living with dementia. Or it can be used by students of Jerriais to explore the native language and traditions of the Island of Jersey.
There are 12 themes to discover including Farming, Tourism and the Occupation. Audio clips aid with the pronunciation of some words.
