App Description

Flying in X-plane is great fun, editing its scenery packs perhaps less so.

Using XScenery Manager you can organize the order of your scenery packs quickly and easily. Select the scenery packs you want to load and assign them to a profile. Create multiple profiles for different regions or scenarios. Select a profile and write its settings to the scenery_packs.ini file in your Custom Scenery folder, all without having to edit a single line.

The app provides default headings based on X-Plane's scenery load order recommendations(i.e. Airports, Overlays, etc). It will read your Custom Scenery folder upon startup to determine if any scenery has been added or removed. The app will attempt to place new scenery files in the appropriate default category. If the app cannot determine where a pack belongs it will add it to the Unknown category.

You can create sub categories under the default categories to aid in organizing the scenery packs. For example, it is possible to group all airports from a region or country together user a sub heading. This not only aids in organizing files but also allows you to enable or disable multiple scenery packs for a profile with just one click.

Since scenery packs can be removed at anytime, the app checks for any packs that may have been removed since the last time the Custom Scenery folder was scanned. If a scenery pack is found to be missing, the app will mark it in red and allow you to manually delete the pack from the scenery list. You can also tell the app to automatically delete missing packs when scanning the Custom Scenery folder.
