App Description

You may be used to nice, smiley weather forecasters on RTE and TG4? Not me! I am a grumpy Irish weatherman and I hate bad weather. Through my app, I will send you push notifications for any Irish weather warnings for your county with my cranky hat on. It's good fun watching me rant about the rain, snow, wind, thunder, fog, cold and (very rarely) hot days.

My warnings will cover the standard Irish Yellow, Orange and Red alerts. Here's where it gets interesting... I will add my own bit of expertise to your weather warnings. There will be the occasional expletive and the odd surprise in my weather alerts. There's also a feature where you can add your own localized weather phrases and I will consider them for future alerts (thanks to the Carlow lad who suggested QUARE COLD!)

It's a very simple app. You don't need to register (everything is done on the app via push notifications) and it takes a few seconds to set up. Once you set up alerts to your county, sit back and wait. The next weather warning for your county will put a smile on your face and a frown on mine.
