App Description

The overall purpose of the Diversity Program Consortium Coordination and Evaluation Center (CEC) at UCLA is to provide operations and data coordination and support, and to conduct a longitudinal evaluation of the Building Infrastructure Leading to Diversity (BUILD) and the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) programs (known collectively as the NIH Diversity Program Consortium). An integral component of this charge is tracking which students and faculty are touched by BUILD and NRMN activities and on an annual basis survey these participants.

This mobile app is a showcase of a new feature of the next release of the DPC Biomedical Scholars App. We believe the QR code reader will enable BUILD and NRMN sites to more easily capture participation in activity sessions that are in the Tracker. The QR code reader is a new function of the next release of the DPC Biomedical Scholars App that communicates directly to the Tracker making roster management easier than ever.
