Intermittent fasting (IF) is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of eating and fasting. It doesn't specify which foods you should eat, although a healthy diet is recommended for maximum results, but rather when you should eat them. (Please do your due diligence before starting IF and refer to the advise and opinions of your medical professional.)
