App Description

How does Berlin move? The Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) want to know and initiate with "BVG-Motion" a pilot project that records and analyzes mobility patterns of participants via the app. The aim is to make Berlin's mobility more intelligent and user-friendly.

Traffic analyses can be carried out using the movement data obtained. These include, for example, mobility-related indicators such as the number of passengers in the respective means of transport of BVG. The collected data serves as a basis for future-oriented traffic planning and individual services, based on the actual needs of Berliners.

As the BVG learns from you, you as well can see for yourself where you have been and how you got there. Personal statistics furthermore show you, how active you move through the city or which means of transport account for the most kilometers traveled. You think you only leave a minimal ecological footprint? Find out and learn how active, clean and fast you travel in comparison to other Berliners.
