BRING LEARNING TO LIFE WITH THE SMARTYSCANNER APP

The SmartyScanner app allows the students to scan free worksheets (downloadable from SmartyFox.com) for access to answers to quiz questions, access to multimedia or for other fun learning features depending on the sheet they download.

The Smartyfox.com website provides access to thousands of fun educational materials that can be freely printed and distributed to students. The books on the platform are a great classroom addition, as well as the educational games which are a fun way for students to learn.
Smarty Fox is a digital platform created with young students and educators in mind. The platform consists of fiction, non-fiction, scannable worksheets in the areas of English, math, science, history, scannable game board, students enjoy the vast variety of educational materials made available to them at the touch of a button.

Smarty Fox makes learning accessible to all learners.

GETTING STARTED

STEP 1 - Visit the www.smartyfox.com website to download fun activity sheets, access our digital library of fiction and non-fiction books, printable games and papercraft across Maths, Science, English and Literature, from Pre-K to year 7 level.

STEP 2 - Print the sheets on A4 or A3 Paper.

STEP 3 - Distribute the sheets to the students and learner groups.

STEP 4 – Download the SmartyScanner app for the students to use.

STEP 5 - Show the learner how to scan the sheet using the app if they have not used it before, learners over the age of 5 do not usually require assistance, but it is always nice to give them a hand the first time.

Lesson planning and support
There are hundreds of sheets on the platform covering different learning areas from concept sheets like introductions to addition to sheets explaining alternative energy. If there is a learning area it will be available in an activity sheet on the platform. If it’s not there, email us and we will make it, free of charge.

Gamification of learning
Use the sheets to gamify learning and make it and fun. Download the sheet and the app, and get the learners playing.

Readers for Inquisitive Learners
With our vast range of fiction and non-fiction children’s books, your students are sure to find something of interest to them.

Rewards for learners
Give the sheets to learners as take-home activities. With the app they can scan the sheet to self-assess quiz activity sheets, view lessons in multi-media or play interactive games with game sheets. All they need is a sheet from smartyfox.com and the app (SmartyScanner for iOS) and they can learn anywhere anytime, even with offline support.

Building confidence through self-assessment
Quiz sheets and the smartphone app used together allow learners to self-assess their learning, they can scan the page to reveal the answer. This builds learner independence and confidence.

Enriching the classroom with scannable
Print posters and activity sheets in A3 size and spread them around the classroom to promote learning and discovery and importantly learner independence. Students will explore the classroom space with their smartphone or tablet and discover new concepts and ideas with the assistance of the SmartyScanner app.
