App Description

Tahi means "one‟ in Maori. The Maori are the native Polynesians of New Zealand, “Aotearoa”. Aotearoa was fished up by “Maui” the “Great Fisher of Islands”. The Maori migrated from the legendary “Hawaiki” island (Rapanui or Easter Island) in 7 canoes from which became the 7 tribes of the Maori. According to Polynesian tradition the Polynesians were lead by an adventurous man named “Hawaii-loa” (“Corianton” in the Book of Mormon) who captained one of “Hagoth‟s” fleets and sailed from “Kahiki-moe”, (the “Land Bountiful” in the Book of Mormon) believed to be Mexico, and landed in “Hawaii”. Hagoth‟s fleet returned to Kahiki-moe and then sailed to Hawaiki. From “Hawaiki” sprang all of the South Pacific inhabitants.

The cards have beautiful photographs of the LDS Temples from around the world. Each player takes turns passing the device from player to player to select a card of the same color, same Temple, a Kingdom card, a Celestial wild card or a Perdition card. First player to play their last card, "Tahi", wins.
