App Description

Breathe is an air quality monitor for particulate matter. You can automatically check the air quality near your current location. Breath uses data from the Citizen Science project luftdaten.info.

Particulate matter is associated with health problems such as coughing, shortness of breath, asthma attacks, heart attacks and strokes. Depending on the size of the particles, fine dust can penetrate into the lung tissue and even into the bloodstream. Particulate matter is caused by car exhaust fumes, wood stoves or agriculture, among other things.

Breathe helps you to adapt your activities, such as jogging or the way to work, to the current particulate matter load and thus prevent health problems.

Breathe also includes an app for the Apple Watch. With this app, air quality recognisable at a glance.
