VISION
Our vision is to boldly procalim the message of hope to the world.
By building the largest cross in the Western Hemisphere we believe we can spread that message of hope.
The cross is the reminder of freedom from sin and the price that Jesus Christ paid to rescue us from that sin.
The cross is currently being constructed and will be the second largest cross in the world standing at 230 feet tall.
WHY A CROSS?
Both in scripture and history the Cross was a symbol of torture and death. It was more than just a tool of execution, but of intense suffering and shame. Death was accomplished by physical body stress and slow suffocation. The shame of the Cross was humiliation, being crucified nude. Today however, it's a symbol of HOPE and SALVATION. Through the Cross God brought about redemption to mankind through the sacrificial death of His Son Jesus.
We are raising the TALLEST CROSS in the Western Hemisphere, the second tallest cross in the world to proclaim with the loudest voice possible, that Jesus died to redeem you from your sin and to give you eternal life. ...that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
