App Description
Welcome to the Kansas City Zoo! We are excited for you to come and explore our 202-acre nature sanctuary. The Zoo features a Sea Lion Show, Keeper Chats, elephant painting demonstrations and many other opportunities for animal encounters. Visitors can take a safari boat ride across the lake in the Zoo’s African Plains area where they’ll see hoofstock, including zebra, giraffe and more.
The Sensory Friendly Kansas City Zoo app was designed for all guests including those with disabilities and their families or school groups, to fully engage in the Zoo experience. In the app, you’ll be able to preview the spaces, create your own schedule, play games, and check out features like our sensory-friendly map and tips for visiting.
A visit to the Kansas City Zoo is a journey around the world, an interactive experience that utilizes all the senses to entertain, educate and engage visitors of all ages.
