A flying basketball with flappy wings? What might sound weird is actually the perfect combination of a sports game with a skill game. Your goal is to carefully maneuver the ball through each of the rings.
By tapping you keep the wings flapping and the basketball in the air. Stop tapping and the ball will fall immediately. It is a matter of precise timing to let it fall through the rings and then continue tapping to not let it hit the ground. Actually, the ball can’t hit anything but the rings, or else it’s game over immediately.
Just imagine the floor is lava. And the ceiling. Also you can’t miss any of the rings along the way. That also means game over.
So it is actually pretty simple: all you have to do is tap. Of course not too fast or too slow. Not to often and not too little. You need to be precise and exact. This game does not forgive mistakes. It’s a flappy game after all!

Keep the ball in the air and let it fall just at the right time to pass through the rings. In a regular basketball game it’s the most satisfying thing to see the ball swoosh through the net without touching the rim.
In City Dunk it is not only satisfying but will earn you more points. And if you manage to do that several times consecutively, your points will increase with each basket. However this is not an easy task to do, so a little flappy ball training may be required.

Additionally you can collect stars scattered along the way that will reward you with additional points.
