Love history? Enjoy exploring new places?

The Tour Buddy Apps Historic Tours apps gives you a self guided tour of historic locations on your smartphone. You can see, hear and experience historic places from all over the world. If you are on location, you can turn ON the GPS triggers to experience a hands free driving or walking tour. If you are not in the area, you can listen to the tours as a podcast from the comfort of your home.

Listen to audio tours as you browse photos, check out the GPS map, learn more by clicking on links for specific points of interest or watch videos in the app. Historical societies, cities and history lovers have created the tours in this app so that the public can walk or drive around and listen to the story of each point of interest.

After downloading the app you can listen to the story of Savannah in the Savannah Walking Tour guide or download one of the many available guides inside the app.

To enjoy the hands free experience you must press 'Allow' for the app to track your location. Then, go into the 'Settings' and turn 'ON' the GPS Auto Play and Kiosk Mode. Make sure your phone is not set to vibrate otherwise you will not be able to hear the audio.

Please note:
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
