Parent app is one of the four applications in the integrated module of Bus 993. In this integrated module, there are total four applications which have different purposes but same goal. All these applications together make the perfect school bus safety application module. It has different and customized app for parents, drivers, schools and Local RTOs.

In particular, Parent app of Bus 993 is specially customized to meet all the needs of every school child's parent. This application has been designed in such a way that it can meet all the requirements of every parent who wishes to keep their kids safe in school buses. Parents can use this app in various ways.

This app is synced with the school bus driver's app which helps keep communication clear between the parent and the school driver. It has many features that support the vision and goal of Bus 993 that is to keep every school children safe and secure while commuting to and from school. We suggest all the parents to download this app to utilize our services.

Bus 993 has changed the lives of many parents as it has made the communication between them and the driver clear and effective. We all know that while driving, the driver must not attend calls or texts but with our app, they don't have to attend calls from parents as it automatically sends all the necessary information to them.

With this app, parents can stay connected to their kids and school bus driver. Now, let us take a look at the numerous features of this app:

1) Mark Attendance - Through this parent app, you can mark attendance to inform the drivers whether your kid is coming to school or not. Just in case, if your kid is not attending the school on some day then mark absent in this application so that the driver does not miss the pick-up of your kid. It also saves the time and fuel of the drivers. Sometimes drivers miss the pick-up just because the kid is few minutes late and they assume that the kid won't attend the school that day which creates misunderstanding. Thus, marking the attendance in this app is the best way to ensure daily pick-up and clear communication.

2) Get Notifications and SMS Alerts - Once you download the app, you will receive notification of every action regarding the school bus. This app notifies you whenever the bus picks-up the kid and drops the kid back home. Other than that, you also get notifications whenever your child sits in the bus after or before school and it also sends the information of the person who received the child at the pick-up point. Not just notifications, you will also receive SMS alerts of the same.

3) Live Tracking - One of the best features of this app is the live tracking feature that is synced with the driver's app and it notifies every moment of the bus and driver in real-time. The app has a built-in GPS and map which send the location off your kid directly to your phone or iPad.

4) ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) - The app calculates and displays the exact time of arrival of your kids at the drop location. The time is calculated after considering the traffic on the road, bus speed, distance and some other factors which are calculated in real-time.
