Take a tour of Berlinische Galerie and discover the highlights of our collection Art in Berlin 1880–1980. This app offers an inclusive audio-guide for blind, vision-impaired, and seeing visitors, featuring fascinating background information on selected works. Depending on your individual needs, the app also provides audio-descriptions of the works exhibited.
The collection of Berlinische Galerie presents itself with 250 works as a diverse tour of 100 years of art created in Berlin. The tour stretches from the academic painting of the late 19th century via expressionism and the eastern European avant-garde to the architecture of postwar modernism and the “wild” painting of the 1970s.
The App: An Overview
Text and audio-guide information on 17 highlights of the collection
No input of numbers required due to automatic triggering in the museum
Additional material for blind and vision impaired visitors: extensive visual descriptions, indications of available seating and touch models, and orientation to promote independent movement using the tactile floor guide system in the exhibition spaces.

Contents of the app available in German and English
We suggest downloading the app at home to prepare best for your visit to the exhibition. In addition, blind visitors can use the acoustic descriptions to guide them on their way to the museum from the closest subway stations Hallesches Tor and Moritzplatz.
