App Description

The app is an educational multimedia tool for the Villa Vauban, art museum of the City of Luxembourg. The trilingual offer (French, German, English) is at the same time barrier-free due to two language levels. Its content is constantly supplemented and adapted to the exhibition programme. In this way, every visitor will find the right format, whether young or old, on site or at home.

The Villa Vauban is located in the middle of the city park and is housed in a representative, historic villa with a modern extension. In its permanent exhibition in the new building, the museum presents the highlights of its collections, focussing on Dutch painting of the “Golden Age” (17th century) and French 19th-century landscape and history painting of the. More paintings, sculptures and graphic works by European artists from the 17th to the 19th century complete the collection. Temporary exhibitions in the old building offer thematic variety.
