App Description

Ama - Tibetan word for mother. As a baby, we learned most of the first words with our parents (usually our mother), pointing at an object and saying the word. With this app, we can try to learn Tibetan words doing the same.

Instructions to use:
1. Just open the app and press the purple button.
2. The app will get you the English word and the Tibetan translation for it.

Please note that this is the first version and there will be many translations that are not available yet. The goal is to gradually build the app so we can crowdsource these translations over the next few versions. As the saying goes, if you are not ashamed of shipping the first version, you have waited too long. In that spirit, your patience is appreciated and your feedback even more so. Our email is [email protected].

Finally, much thanks to Github users to 'dmotz' and 'vigzmv' for their ideas and implementation. We just made a Tibetan version of it.

Note that this app is meant to complement, not replace, a mother's care (which is never replaceable).
