"Phetus" is an American artist from Long Island, New York. Rooted in the graffiti and hip hop subculture of the 1980's. For a quarter of a century, Phetus has continued to create and give birth to new and original artwork remaining relevant within today's current pop and commercial art scene.
Recognized most recently for his contribution to the street art scene in Brooklyn, NY. Phetus has created numerous murals in the Bushwick section of BK with a style he coined "Monstrous Expressionism". A wide spectrum of colors and a ​vast assortment of facial expressions adorn walls throughout the borough, sparking various emotions from admiring spectators.
