App Description

Many of the plants commonly grown in UK gardens originally came from the Himalayas.

This app shares the stories of fourteen fascinating species of Nepalese plants growing at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Some of the plants you will know, others may be less familiar.

Learn about the places they grow, how they are used in Nepal and the collectors who brought them here by listening to the audio commentaries either as you walk around the garden or sit at home.

The app also contains a map and geolocation feature to help you orientate yourself and find the plants in the garden.
